KINOSHITA Daisuke

Born in Yokohama 1966. Graduated from the Faculty of Music and completed the Graduate School of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. Studied under Prof. Atsutada Otaka.

Received a lot of awards including the Compositional Award of Nihon no Ongaku-ten.

Held personal-exhibition concerts in 2016 and 2017.

An invited composer for the East Asia International Contemporary Music Festival in 2017 and 2023.

Currently he is Professor of Utsunomiya University, and President of Music-Department of JAUE (the Japan Association of Universities of Education).

Major works: Trois mélodies féminines (Sop/Pf), Trio à cordes, Les vents d’ouest (Marb), Oïwaké (Vc), Mémoires des jours ensoleillés (Cl/Pf), Skiggen (Vib/Perc), L’automne de l'âge moderne (Pf), Sonatine d’été (Ob/Pf), Strada d'orizzonte (2 Vo/Shakuhachi/Cl/Shamisen/2 Koto/17-string Koto/Pf).
