Graduated from Dept. of Composition of Toho Gakuen School of Music.
Studied composition with Akira Miyoshi.
Winner of the first prize of the 10th memorial composition competition held in Music Today '82, Muramatsu Award in 1988, and 28th Kenzo Nakajima Music Award for "Composer Profile 2009" sponsored by Suntory Foundation for the Arts. He also won many awards for advertising music.
CD "The Genesis of Silence" was released from fontec.
